Anja Sherry
Founder  & CEO

Anja Sherry was raised internationally by Swedish-American journalists, spending her early years in Hong Kong before living in Washington, DC and eventually Florida. Her global upbringing shaped a deep appreciation for culture, adaptability, and human connection. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Rollins College, holds a state teaching license, and completed graduate certification in K–6 Montessori education, laying a strong foundation in child development and family-centered learning.

With over a decade of experience across Montessori, public Title I schools, and private education, Anja has always been drawn to environments that support the whole child—and the adults guiding them. During the pandemic, she began matching tutors and educators to families, launching learning pods and in-home learning support during a time of rapid change and uncertainty.

As families’ needs evolved, so did the work. What began as educational placement organically expanded into placing trusted household professionals, including nannies, housekeepers, chefs, and house managers—individuals who play a vital role in the rhythm and well-being of the home.

Adaptive Education was born from the belief that a home functions best when the right people are thoughtfully matched to it. Today, Anja works closely with families—primarily in South Florida and New York—to provide highly personalized home placements rooted in trust, discretion, and long-term alignment.
